Dr. William O. Baker, Music Director
Dr. William Baker, Founder and Music Director, is a native of Atlanta. His formal education included studies in voice and conducting at Mercer University in Atlanta and the University of Georgia, culminating in the Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. Beginning
with his 1977 appointment as Minister of Music for the First Cumberland
Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, he has served large Presbyterian, Lutheran and United Methodist congregations in the South and
Midwest. He now serves as Minister of Music for Grace United Methodist Church in Atlanta.

Sue Walker Goddard, Organist
Sue Goddard, AAGO, joined the Grace staff on September 2, 1956, after graduating with honors from Agnes Scott College in 1955, and then earning the Associateship certificate from the American Guild of Organists in June of 1956. While serving on the staff of Grace, Sue has been associated with The Temple and
Northside Drive Baptist Church, and has been the staff accompanist of the
Georgia Tech Chorale, the Colson Chorale, and the Choral Guild of Atlanta. For fifteen summers she was the accompanist
for Hinshaw Publishing Company's CELEBRATION workshops. She has served in
leadership positions in the Atlanta chapters of the Choristers Guild and the

Christine Smith
Christine M. Smith is a music educator in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, instructing kindergarten through eighth grade general and choral music. She earned her Bachelor in Music Education in 2004 from the University of Kansas, where she studied voice and performed her senior recital in 2004 under Marci Ziegler. She is currently working towards her Masters in Choral Pedagogy at the University of Kansas. She is in her second season of membership with the William Baker Festival Singers. Her one-year appointment as Student Intern for the William Baker Choral Foundation began in June 2007 and will continue through May 20078. She is originally from Topeka, KS where her family is also very involved in community musical endeavors. Recently engaged, she spends her "free time" wedding planning and enjoying her friends and family.
